NetSuite Klaviyo Integration

For Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify & BigCommerce stores

Half your buyers check out as guests and never reach Klaviyo. Dominate sends every customer, every consent change, and every order, shipment, and refund to Klaviyo from the same connector that already runs your NetSuite sync. One extension on the store, nothing Klaviyo-specific installed.

The problem

Your best flows skip the customers who never made an account.

A Magento store does 1,000 orders a month. Around 450 are guest checkouts. Without a backend sync, those 450 buyers never become Klaviyo profiles, so the post-purchase flow, the review request, and the replenishment reminder all fire for the other 550 only. You are running email marketing on roughly half your customers and calling it done.

Day one

When Klaviyo segments work, if history is imported at connect time

What syncs

Every profile, every event, in Klaviyo.

The backend data your storefront snippet cannot see: guests, consent, fulfillment, refunds, and history.

ProfilesStore → Klaviyo

Registered customers created and updated in real time with configurable field mapping

Guest buyersStore → Klaviyo

Guests become profiles from their first order, deduplicated so one email is one profile

ConsentStore → Klaviyo

Subscribe and unsubscribe set email marketing consent through Klaviyo's subscription endpoints

Placed OrderStore → Klaviyo

Klaviyo's canonical metric name, so your existing flows fire without reconfiguration

Ordered ProductStore → Klaviyo

Line-item events for product-level segments and cross-sell flows

Fulfilled OrderStore → Klaviyo

Shipment events for post-purchase and review-request flows

Refunded OrderStore → Klaviyo

Refund events so win-back flows do not fire on cancelled orders

Customer deletionStore → Klaviyo

Deleted customers are suppressed in Klaviyo, history retained for reporting

Historical importStore → Klaviyo

Backfill customers, orders, and subscribers with original dates, flagged historical so live flows stay quiet

How it works

Three steps. Klaviyo populated the same day.

01

Connect

Paste your Klaviyo API key into the Dominate dashboard and run the connection test. Nothing new to install on your store if Dominate already runs your NetSuite sync.

Minutes

02

Map

Enable the entities you want synced and map store fields to Klaviyo properties with optional conditions and value maps.

Your pace

03

Backfill and go live

Import history so segments and predictive analytics are populated on day one, then switch on real-time events. Every sync is logged with retry.

Same day

One connection, many destinations

Stop installing a new extension for every system.

Your store runs one Dominate extension holding one API key. NetSuite, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and future destinations are added on top of that connection, each with its own mapping, status, retry schedule, and reporting. A Klaviyo API outage never delays a NetSuite order.

  • Nothing Klaviyo-specific installed on the store
  • Canonical Klaviyo metric names, existing flows keep working
  • Idempotent events, a retried sync never double-counts an order
  • Per-entity sync reports with one-click retry

How the options compare

Klaviyo's Magento extension

Free

A second extension to install and keep compatible with every Magento release. No historical import flagged as historical.

Celigo or Boomi flow

$1,500 to $3,500/mo platform fee

Enterprise iPaaS pricing to move data you already send to NetSuite.

Custom middleware

$15,000 to $60,000 to build

Flexible, and yours to maintain forever.

Dominate

Transparent monthly pricing, no per-transaction fees

The connector you already run, routed to Klaviyo. Guests, consent, events, and history included.

Use cases

Built for stores that live in Klaviyo

Magento and Adobe Commerce stores

Klaviyo's own Magento extension is a second thing to install, configure, and keep compatible with every Magento upgrade. Dominate uses the connector extension your store already runs for NetSuite, so Klaviyo is one more destination, not one more extension.

Stores with guest checkout

Half your buyers never create an account. Without an integration they never become Klaviyo profiles, so your post-purchase flows skip them entirely. Guest profiles arrive with their first order, deduplicated against registered customers.

Brands with strict consent requirements

Double opt-in subscribers who never confirmed must not be emailed. Dominate sets consent only through Klaviyo's subscription endpoints and never treats an unconfirmed subscriber as consented.

Stores that need history, not a blank account

A Klaviyo account that starts empty cannot segment by lifetime value or predict churn. The historical import loads past customers, orders, and subscribers with their real dates so analytics work from the first week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which stores can use the NetSuite Klaviyo integration?

Any Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce store running the Dominate connector. If Dominate already handles your NetSuite sync, Klaviyo is added as a destination on the same connection with nothing new to install. Get started and we will confirm your store's fit and map your fields.

Do I still need Klaviyo's Magento extension?

No. The single Dominate connector extension sends your store's customer, order, shipment, refund, and newsletter events to the Dominate platform, and the platform delivers them to Klaviyo. Your store never runs Klaviyo-specific code.

Will my existing Klaviyo flows keep working?

Yes. Dominate sends Placed Order, Ordered Product, Fulfilled Order, and Refunded Order using Klaviyo's canonical metric names, so flows, templates, and reports built on those metrics fire without reconfiguration.

What about onsite tracking, viewed product, and abandoned cart?

Those are storefront events, and Klaviyo's own JavaScript snippet handles them well. Paste it into your theme as usual. Dominate covers the backend data: profiles, consent, orders, shipments, refunds, and history.

Does the historical import trigger my live flows?

No. Imported records carry their original dates and are flagged to Klaviyo as historical, so they populate segments, metrics, and predictive analytics without sending a welcome email to a customer from 2023.

Will NetSuite data like B2B customer type or payment terms appear in Klaviyo?

That is on the roadmap. The first release syncs your store's profiles, consent, and order events. Because Dominate also runs your NetSuite sync, enriching Klaviyo profiles with ERP-side fields such as customer type, sales rep, and offline order history is the natural next step.
